Patna University (PU) is set to regularize its academic session in 2024-25 by ensuring timely admission and completion of courses
The university has already published a detailed academic calendar, giving details of admission to its different courses and the commencement of classes. According to PU students’ welfare dean Anil Kumar, online submission of applications for admission to the four-year undergraduate courses (both under conventional and self-financing modes) in its constituent colleges — Patna College, Patna Science College, Magadh Mahila College, B N College, Vanijya Mahavidylay, Patna Law College and College of Arts and Crafts — will start on April 18.
- The entrance test for conventional undergraduate courses, including BA Hons, BSc Hons, BCom Hons, Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and LLB, will be held on June 10.
- The entrance test for admission to various undergraduate programmes running in self-financing mode, namely, library science, computer applications, business administration, social work, mass communications, biotechnology, functional English and environmental science, will be held on June 12.
- The online submission of applications for admission to the postgraduate courses both under regular and self-financing modes will start on June 15, with the last date for submission of forms being July 8.
- Admission to all other postgraduate courses running in self-financing mode will be made through entrance tests to be held on July 15 and 16.
